How to Complete Identity Verification

Update on 2026-06-12 17:01:34 0User Guide

To ensure the security of your account and the entire PayAny community, and to unlock all of our platform's features, we need to verify your identity. This process is known as Know Your Customer (KYC).

Our guide will walk you through every step. It's a simple process, and we're here to help you get it right on the first try!

A Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1. Getting Started

First, log into your PayAny account. Move your mouse over the profile icon located in the top-right corner of the page to open the dropdown menu. From the menu, click on ID Verification. Here, you will set the foundation for your verification.

  1. Select Your Nationality: Choose your country of nationality from the dropdown list.
  2. Choose Verification Type:
  • Select Personal if you are an individual user. You can use an ID Card, Passport, or Driver's License.
  • Select Enterprise if you are verifying on behalf of a business or organization.
  1. Confirm Your Information: Tick the confirmation box to agree to the following statement -- I promise that the information provided is my own, and there is no pirating of other people's information.

This is your pledge that you are the true owner of the identity and documents you are about to submit.

  1. Click Next to proceed.

Step 2. Entering Your Details

The information you provide here must exactly match the documents you will upload in the next step.

If you selected Personal Verification

You will be asked to enter your personal details. Please provide ID Number, First Name and Last Name. Double-check for any typos, then click Next.

If you selected Enterprise Verification

You will be asked to enter your company's official information. Please provide Company Name and Registered Address. Ensure this information matches your official company registration documents, then click Next.

Step 3. Uploading Your Documents

This is the most important step. Clear, valid documents will ensure your verification is approved quickly.

If you selected Personal Verification

You will need to upload three images:

  • A photo of the front side of your ID document.
  • A photo of the back side of your ID document (if applicable)
  • A selfie of you holding your ID document.

Tips for Successful Photo Uploads: To avoid delays, please follow these guidelines carefully. All images must be under 10MB.

  • Use Good Lighting: Take photos in a well-lit room. Natural daylight is best.
  • Ensure It's Crystal Clear: All text on your ID must be sharp and easy to read. Avoid blurry images.
  • Show the Full Document: Do not crop any part of the ID. All four corners should be visible.
  • Avoid Glare and Reflections: Tilt the card slightly if needed to avoid reflections from lights, which can hide important information.
  • Check Your Selfie: Your face must be clearly visible, centered in the frame, and not covered by hair or accessories.

If you selected Enterprise Verification

You will need to upload official company documents. The accepted file formats are PDF, DOC, DOCX, and standard image files (JPG, PNG), with a size limit of 10MB per file.

  • Certificate of Incorporation (CI)
  • Business Registration Certificate (BR)
  • Supplementary Document (Optional): This could be a bank statement, utility bill, or other document that validates the company's address or existence.

Once all required files are uploaded, click Next to submit your application.

What Happens Next?

You've done your part! Our team will now review the submitted information and documents. This process typically takes between 5-7 days. You will be notified via email and on the platform as soon as your verification is complete.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Why was my verification rejected?

The most common reasons for rejection are related to photo quality. Please double-check that your photos are not blurry, your ID is not expired, there is no glare covering the text, and the entire document is visible. You will receive an email explaining the specific reason for rejection so you can correct it and resubmit.

My ID (like a passport) doesn't have a "back side." What should I upload?

If your identification document is a single page, simply re-upload the photo of the front side in the "back side" upload field.

Why do I need to provide a selfie?

The selfie is a crucial security measure called "liveness detection." It helps us confirm that you are the real owner of the ID document and not a malicious actor using a stolen image. This protects your identity and your account.

For enterprise verification, what are the "CI" and "BR" documents?

The Certificate of Incorporation (CI) is the legal document that confirms the company's formation. The Business Registration (BR) certificate is what registers the company to operate in its jurisdiction, often containing a registration number and address. The exact names may vary by country.

Is my personal information and data secure with PayAny?
