Data Deletion Instructions
Effective date: 2026-09-08
You can delete your PayAny account and the personal data linked to it at any time. This page explains how to make the request, what is removed, and what we are legally required to keep.
1. Delete your account in the app
- Sign in to PayAny on the web, or open the PayAny app on iOS or Android.
- Go to Settings and choose Delete Account.
- Select a reason, read the data retention notice and continue.
- Complete the security verification (a code sent to your email or mobile, or your authenticator app) and confirm.
If you are already signed in you can go straight to Delete Account. Deletion is only possible when you have no pending deposit, withdrawal or exchange, and any remaining balance is forfeited, so withdraw your funds and download your statements first.
2. Ask us to delete your data
If you can no longer sign in, or you only want specific data removed, contact our support team through the Help Center and tell us the email address or mobile number registered to your account. We will verify that the request comes from the account holder before acting on it, and confirm the outcome to you within 3 days.
3. What happens when you delete
Your account is permanently closed as soon as the request is confirmed. Your name, contact details, credentials, login history and active sessions are erased or anonymized, and the links to any third-party sign-in you used (Facebook, Google, Apple, Telegram or WhatsApp) are removed, so those providers can no longer be used to access the account. We send a confirmation to the email address that was on the account. Deletion cannot be undone.
4. Data we must keep
PayAny is a regulated payment service. Some records are kept after your account is deleted because the law requires it:
- Identity verification (KYC) records and transaction history, kept for the periods required by anti-money-laundering, tax and accounting laws.
- Records needed for fraud prevention, dispute resolution or to respond to lawful requests from authorities.
Retained records are stored with restricted access, are never used for marketing, and are securely deleted or anonymized once the retention period ends. See the data retention section of our Privacy Policy for details.
5. If you signed up with Facebook or another provider
Removing PayAny from the apps and websites settings of your Facebook, Google or Apple account only stops that provider from being used to sign in. It does not delete your PayAny account or the data we hold, so please also follow the steps above.
