Can I Exchange as Part of a Deposit or a Withdrawal?
Yes. An exchange can be attached to money coming in or going out, so you do not have to wait between the two steps.
Exchanging a deposit
From a deposit order, choose Exchange. You can convert up to the deposit amount. If the deposit has not arrived yet, the exchange is booked now at the rate you confirm and settles the moment the deposit is credited. The deposit page keeps track of how much of it can still be exchanged.
Withdrawing in another currency
On Withdraw, if you pick a currency you do not hold enough of, PayAny shows the shortfall and can fund the withdrawal with an exchange from another balance in the same order. The withdrawal is marked Funded by an exchange, and the exchange appears under Exchange Orders.
Where they show up
- The deposit or withdrawal page lists its related exchange orders.
- Exchange Orders shows every conversion, including those that came with a deposit or a withdrawal. Filter with Only the ones I placed to see just your standalone exchanges.
- In Progress shows the pair as long as either leg is still moving; both legs settle together.
Good to know
- The rate is the one you saw when you confirmed, whichever way the market went after.
- Cancelling a pending deposit cancels the exchange booked against it; nothing moves.
