How Are Rates and Fees Set?
On this page
PayAny shows you everything you pay before you confirm. There are no hidden intermediary charges.
Rates
The home page and the Exchange page show live rates for every pair PayAny quotes, updated in real time. Signed out, you see the reference rate. Signed in, you see the rate quoted to your account, which can be better than the reference — the page tells you by how much. The rate is locked when you confirm and does not move afterwards.
Rate alerts
Set a rate alert on a pair and PayAny tells you when your price is hit.
Fees
- Deposits are free.
- Exchange: the fee, if any, and the amount that will land are shown on the confirmation before you confirm.
- Withdrawals: any fee is shown on the order before you submit it.
Accounts with agreed pricing see their own rates and fees applied automatically.
Reading the numbers
Rates are shown as the quote currency per unit of the base currency, and every amount uses the currency’s own number of decimal places. When a currency runs on more than one rail, the rail is shown after it, for example XOF (Senegal), and each rail is priced on its own.
