How Do I Send Money to Someone?
On this page
PayAny is not a remittance app: you pay someone from a balance you hold with us, in three moves. The person you pay needs no PayAny account.
Step 1 — Fund your balance
Open an account and verify your identity, then deposit — by bank transfer to your own PayAny deposit account, or in cash at a PayAny office. Deposits are free, and a bank deposit is usually confirmed within an hour of your receipt arriving.
Step 2 — Exchange, if they are paid in another currency
If the person is paid in a currency you do not hold yet, open Exchange and convert at the rate shown before you confirm. Skip this step when you already hold their currency.
Step 3 — Pay out to them
Open Withdraw, choose Bank Transfer and pick the recipient as a beneficiary — their name as it appears at their bank, the bank and the account number. Confirm with your fund password. Most bank payouts land within an hour, with the bank receipt attached to the order. Where PayAny has an office, you can instead name a collector who picks the money up in cash with a photo ID.
Paying another PayAny customer
Under Withdraw you can also pay a PayAny customer directly, by their PayAny ID, username, email or mobile. It arrives at once and costs nothing.
Good to know
- Check every line before you confirm. Once sent, a transfer to a wrong account cannot be pulled back.
- Withdrawals stay capped until your identity verification is approved, so verify first.
- Someone can also pay you without an account of their own — see Deposit Links and Share My Account.
