How Do I Verify My Identity?
On this page
Verification is how PayAny knows who is behind an account. It is required by the regulations PayAny operates under, and it is what lifts the cap on withdrawals.
Which type to choose
- Personal verification — for individuals and sole traders. You provide a government-issued ID and a selfie.
- Enterprise verification — for registered companies. You provide the company documents and the details of the person submitting them.
Only the ID types supported for your nationality can be selected, so pick your country first.
What you need for personal verification
- Your nationality and your name exactly as printed on the ID.
- The ID number.
- A photo of the front and back of the ID card or driver licence, or the photo page of the passport. The document must be complete, clearly visible, with no glare or blocking, and distinguishable from the background.
- A selfie with your face centred, well lit and fully visible.
What you need for enterprise verification
- Certificate of Incorporation (CI).
- Business Registration Certificate (BR).
- The company name and registered address as they appear on the documents.
- Supplementary documents where requested — PDF, DOC, DOCX or image files up to 10 MB each.
How long it takes
Submissions are reviewed within 24 hours. The result is sent to the email address or mobile number bound to your account, and you can check the status on the Verification page at any time. If a document is rejected, the reason is shown and you can re-submit.
Good to know
- The details you enter must match the ID exactly. They cannot be changed once verification is approved.
- An ID number can only be used on one PayAny account.
- Verification information is kept when you freeze your account, so you do not verify again after unfreezing.
- PayAny may ask for additional documents for specific transactions later. That is a compliance review, not a new verification.
