How Do Payments Land, and How Long Do They Take?
Every payout from PayAny is a withdrawal from your balance, paid through a licensed bank or mobile-money operator, or handed over in cash at a PayAny office.
Bank and mobile-money payouts
Withdrawals land directly at the beneficiary’s bank or mobile-money wallet — more than 500 banks, wallets and cash desks across West Africa, the UAE and China — cleared through the accounts PayAny holds with partners such as Providus Bank, Moniepoint, MTN MoMo and Moov Money. A withdrawal is reviewed, released to the bank and usually paid within 1 hour. Large amounts may arrive in parts; you see each part, with its receipt, on the order.
Cash payouts
Where PayAny has an office, a withdrawal can be collected in cash by you or a collector you name, against the pickup voucher and a photo ID.
Timing
- Deposits by bank transfer: usually credited within 1 hour of your receipt arriving.
- Cash deposits: credited the moment the desk counts and you sign.
- Exchanges: both balances update the moment you confirm, or as soon as an operator books one the market moved on.
- Bank withdrawals: usually paid within 1 hour of approval.
Bank holidays and PayAny desk closures are shown on the calendar on the home page, marked separately.
Where to watch
In Progress lists every order still moving, with a one-line status. Statements carry every order number for reconciliation and can be exported.
