What Are Deposit Accounts and How Do I Get One?
On this page
A deposit account is a bank account, in your name, that PayAny sets up for receiving money in one currency. Anything paid into it is matched to your PayAny account.
Getting one
Open Deposit Accounts, choose the currency and press Generate. The account is ready to use immediately and appears on the Deposit page as a choice. You can hold accounts in several currencies at once. If no new account can be issued for a currency right now, the page says so and you keep using the ones you have.
Using it
- The account number is the only field your bank app needs. Copy it from the card, or scan the QR code on the account’s detail sheet.
- Send from a bank account in your own name whenever possible.
- After transferring, create a deposit order with the amount and the receipt so the desk can match the payment to you.
Sharing it
You do not have to be the one paying. Share My Account gives you a permanent public link that shows the payer your deposit account and lets them upload their receipt. Deposit Links do the same for a single payment, with a fixed amount if you want one. Each submission creates a pending deposit on your account that PayAny verifies before crediting.
Good to know
- Deposit accounts are for bank transfers only. Cash deposits use an office voucher instead.
- If a currency is temporarily suspended, its accounts are unavailable until it is restored.
- Deposit accounts are listed for the currencies PayAny can currently receive. The list grows as new corridors open.
