How Do I Deposit by Bank Transfer?
On this page
A bank deposit is a transfer from your bank to a PayAny deposit account in your name, followed by a receipt so the desk can match it.
Before you start
Generate a deposit account for the currency you want to be paid in, under Deposit Accounts. Each account is yours and stays yours; the account number is the only field your bank app needs.
Step by step
- Open Deposit, choose the currency and select one of your deposit accounts.
- Transfer the amount from your bank to that account. Copy the details or scan the QR code shown on the page rather than typing them.
- Enter the amount you sent and upload the proof — up to 10 files, 10 MB each, in JPG, PNG, PDF or Excel.
- Submit. Check every line before you do; the order carries the amount you entered.
Important: Pay from a bank account in your own name and put a reference on the transfer. Payments from another name are treated as third-party payments and may need documents before they are credited.
What happens next
PayAny matches your transfer to the bank statement. Most deposits are confirmed within 1 hour of the proof arriving, and the order moves from Pending to Credited. You are notified when it lands.
Exchanging a deposit that has not arrived yet
You can book an exchange against a deposit that is still pending. The exchange is booked now at the rate you confirm, and settles the moment the deposit is credited.
Good to know
- Pay from an account in the same name as your PayAny account whenever you can. Payments from other people are reviewed as third-party payments and may need extra documents.
- Put a useful reference on the transfer — invoice number, contract number or purpose — so the desk can match it faster.
- If the currency you need is temporarily suspended, the Deposit page says so. If you have already transferred, contact Customer Support with the receipt.
- You can cancel a deposit order while it is still pending. Money already sent to the account is matched to the next order or refunded by support.
