Yes, in certain legitimate business scenarios, PayAny may accept payments from third-party payers. However, all third-party payments are subject to compliance review, transaction verification, and internal risk-control policies.

As a general principle, PayAny primarily recommends and prioritizes payments made from bank accounts or payment accounts registered under the same verified name as the PayAny account holder. Same-name payments are easier to verify, lower risk from a compliance perspective, and typically processed more efficiently.

However, PayAny understands that in real-world cross-border trade operations, payments are not always made directly by the buyer. In some cases, affiliated companies, shareholders, logistics partners, agents, employees, or end customers may make payments on behalf of the buyer. Therefore, PayAny supports selected third-party payment scenarios when sufficient business justification and supporting documentation can be provided.

PayAny’s Third-Party Payment Principles

PayAny only accepts payments that have a reasonable and verifiable business background. All transactions must comply with applicable anti-money laundering (AML), risk-control, and compliance requirements.

PayAny does not support:

  • Underground banking activities
  • Sanctioned entities or high-risk payment agents
  • Suspicious transactions without legitimate trade purpose
  • Payments lacking reasonable business logic
  • Unverifiable payment relationships

To reduce payment delays and improve transaction verification efficiency, PayAny recommends that remitters include transaction details in the payment remark or remittance note whenever possible.

Suggested remittance information includes: buyer name, invoice or contract number, product category or transaction purpose

For example: “Company X | Invoice No. 2026-001 | Electronics Products”

This helps PayAny’s operational and compliance teams match incoming payments with the corresponding trade transaction more quickly and accurately.

Acceptable Third-Party Payment Scenarios

PayAny may accept third-party payments under the following scenarios, subject to review and approval.

  1. Payments From Shareholders or Directors

If the payer is a shareholder or director of the buyer’s company, PayAny may request documentation proving the relationship between the payer and the buyer company.

Supporting documents may include:

  • Company registration records
  • Articles of association
  • Shareholding structure documents
  • Director appointment records
  1. Payments From Affiliated Companies

If the payment is made by an affiliated or related company of the buyer, PayAny may request proof of corporate relationship or cross-shareholding between the entities.

Supporting documents may include:

  • Group company structure
  • Shareholding documents
  • Corporate ownership records
  1. Payments From End Customers of the Buyer

If the payer is the buyer’s end customer and the payment is related to legitimate trade activities, PayAny may request:

  • A tripartite agreement
  • Purchase contract
  • Commercial invoice
  • Supporting trade documents

The agreement or contract must contain:

  • Company stamp or valid signature
  • Transaction details
  • Buyer and payer information

If signed manually, identification documents of the signatory may also be required.

  1. Payments From Trading Partners or Service Providers

If the payer is a logistics company, freight forwarder, customs broker, sourcing partner, or other authorized trade partner acting on behalf of the buyer, PayAny may request:

  • Agency agreement
  • Authorization letter
  • Service contract
  • Cooperation agreement

This helps verify the business relationship between the buyer and the payment party.

Quantity Control and Payment Risk Management

For the same buyer or transaction relationship, PayAny recommends avoiding the use of multiple unrelated third-party payment agents. Excessive use of multiple third-party payers may increase transaction risk and may result in:

  • Payment delays
  • Additional compliance review
  • Temporary transaction holds
  • Rejected or returned payments

PayAny reserves the right to request additional supporting documents for any transaction that requires enhanced verification.

Third-Party Payments Through Payment Platforms

If payments are made through third-party payment platforms or intermediary services, PayAny may request:

  • Original remittance slips
  • Payment receipts
  • Platform transaction records
  • Supporting trade documents

These materials help PayAny determine whether the transaction qualifies as an acceptable third-party payment scenario.

Different payment channels and local collection accounts may have different risk-control standards and documentation requirements depending on the supported currency, country, and payment method.

Local Collection Accounts and Personal Payments

For local collection accounts, PayAny may also support payments from:

  • Employees of the buyer company
  • Shareholders or directors
  • Related corporate entities

Additional supporting materials may be required, including:

  • Employment contracts
  • Proof of employment
  • Corporate relationship documents
  • Logistics and trade records

Certain collection limits may apply depending on:

  • Payment country
  • Transaction volume
  • Quality of logistics documentation
  • Availability of customs or shipping records

PayAny may adjust or restrict collection capabilities based on risk assessment and compliance review results.

Share My Account Feature

PayAny also provides a Share My Account feature that allows account holders to generate a public payment collection link for customers, partners, and third-party senders.

Through this feature, third-party payers can:

  • Submit payment information
  • Upload proof of payment
  • Provide sender details
  • Submit supporting transaction references

Each submission creates a pending credit transaction that is reviewed and verified by PayAny’s operational and compliance teams before funds are credited to the account balance.

This feature helps merchants and cross-border traders collect payments from multiple senders in a more structured, scalable, and trackable way.

Compliance and Final Review

All third-party payments remain subject to PayAny’s final compliance approval and internal risk-control review.

PayAny may:

  • Request additional documentation
  • Reject unsupported payment structures
  • Return transactions that cannot be verified
  • Temporarily hold transactions pending review

Approval decisions are based on:

  • Business legitimacy
  • Trade background
  • Supporting documents
  • Transaction consistency
  • Risk assessment results

PayAny’s compliance framework is designed to help businesses conduct cross-border trade securely while maintaining regulatory compliance and protecting the integrity of the payment ecosystem.
