How Long Does Each Step Take?
Typical times, measured from the moment PayAny has what it needs from you. Bank holidays and PayAny desk closures — shown on the calendar on the home page — extend them.

| Identity verification | Within 24 hours | An unreadable document, or one that does not match the details entered |
| Deposit by bank transfer | Within 1 hour of your receipt arriving | A transfer with no reference, or from a payer whose name differs from yours |
| Deposit in cash at an office | Immediate once the desk counts and you sign | A counted amount that differs from the voucher, which goes to a manager |
| Deposit through a link or Share My Account | Within 1 hour of the payer’s receipt arriving | Third-party payments needing documents |
| Exchange | Immediate on confirmation | A rate that moved while you confirmed — booked by hand at your rate, shown as Pending |
| Withdrawal to a bank account | Review in minutes; paid within 1 hour of approval | A manual review, a receiving bank’s own processing, or a payout in parts |
| Cash collection at an office | Collectable once approved; paid at the counter | Office opening hours; large amounts arranged in advance |

What the statuses mean
- Pending — PayAny is waiting for something: your transfer to arrive, your cash at the desk, or an operator to book a rate.
- In review — a person is checking the order. Most clear in minutes.
- Paying — released to the bank and clearing.
- Paid, Credited, Finished — done, with the receipt on the order.
- Error — the payout stopped; nothing has been deducted, and support picks it up.
Note: All times above are typical, not guaranteed. PayAny does not compensate for delays caused by banks, holidays or compliance reviews, but it does tell you where an order is at every step.
